Throughout this period, increasing demand for specialty private-label packaging to selective markets such as Theme Park industry provided the incentive to develop a complete turn-key packaging operation using state-of-the-art packaging machinery.

In 1983, Copper Kettle Candy was reorganized as a California corporation. Soon thereafter Copper Kettle ventured into manufacturing and introducing its first product, the “Sassy Sours” in 1986. The Sassy Sours are candy rolls consisting of assorted fruit flavor tablets. 1990 saw the introduction of “Tip Top,” candy filled straws that added to the highly successful line of Sassy Sours.
